Description

This is like a cover I did for fun for a roleplay im plaing privately with this guy and its turning out very fun, I'll post what we wrote so far below so you get it. However if anywhere is says that the guy looks different, don't kill me cause I just drew him the way I through...actually I was drawing someone else but then decided to put him with Enigms (internsionally was going to be Mordior) but the Egyption them fitted too well into it so yeah...enjoy anyway! Done with ink stuff, colors penciles and watercolor penciles. I took pic cause it was too big to scan and didn't turn out well at all, who cares atleast you can see it all.
PS. His hair is brown...it just turned out red after taking pic...so its brown like his eyes. ^^;

ROLEPLAY
__________________________________

Wounded Glory-
Konnor stared at the polished amber stone in his hands--it was half of another, the other half most likely buried underneath miles of sand or ocean somewhere. He looked up and met the eyes of the gypsy, puzzled and bewildered as to why he had dropped it into his hands.

"I don't understand," he said, shaking his head and raising his eyebrows in wonder. "What--this is to help me bring Seryn back? This...stone?"

The gypsy merely shook his head and waved him away expressively, forcing Konnor to rise to his feet avoiding the dirtied, crusty hands. The old man pointed to the sky and nodded vidorously, and murmured one word: "Wish."

A bit let down that he'd travelled all this way for nothing, Konnor sighed and left the tent. The night air was crisp and invigorating, and he thought about tossing the stone into the bushes somewhere in frustration--but he held back.

Something was telling him to go for it. Why not? He had nothing to lose. His sister was gone, and he'd been miserable these past few years without her. What could go wrong, really?

Standing there, feeling a bit silly in front of the old gypsy's tent, Konnor squeezed his eyes shut. Nothing. He took a deep breath and tightened his grip on the stone this time, shutting his eyes again--to no effect.

"I just want to go back," he said almost desperately, the moment his sister had been hit by the truck fkashing across his thoughts.

Suddenly he was pulled backwards very quickly, and thought the old gypsy had violently taken hold of his shirt. BUt that wasn't so, because he was careening in a field of lights and sounds, movement everywhere around him and noises jarbled in unison.

He felt a sense of total vertigo, of flipping upside down and inside out, and then, as suddenly as it had begun, it stopped, and he stared at the exact museum his sister had been in front of when she'd been run over.

One thing nagged at his mind, though: they had torn it down just a year ago, and yet still he held it in his vision.

Me(Orlia)-
Enigma was hopping down the stairs slowly with books about ancient egypt in her hand, a place she ever so desired to go, as she slowly descended into the busy streets of New York.

Uff...another day in modern times, I so wish for the ancient times when there wasn't so much fuss about little things of today...uff... she though with longing for change, as her eyes scanned the crossing area for anything interesting.

Spotting a cafe on the other side of the stree, she ran to the lights and waited for the lights to turn green. Looking both ways, she noticed there where no sign of cars and most of the people around her got aggitated and started to cross, however, Enigma stayed putt. No point to risk ones life just because oen couldn't spare a few minutes of one's time.

The lights finally turned green, reflecting her own green eyes as she walked forth to have the wind blow back her long black hair to the floor, behind her, aggitating a few people again.

Reaching the otherside, she sat down to be served, asked the hot waiter for a capuccino with extra suger, gave him a wink and then observed the cross-road area. There where barely any cars passing, and suddenly people payed no attention to the lights, as if there was no possibility of a car coming along and killing you. Then, there are the other few that just follow the crowd without looking, thinking that the light is green.

"Look both ways people atleast, sine you won't wait!" she yelled out, she had to for it will do them some good and do some good for the younger children that look up to the older people as their role models.

Wounded Glory-
Konnor turned towards the voice yelling at the people crossing the crosswalk, and that was when his eyes landed on his sister, running across the road. Eyes wide and unable to do anything, the truck came from the left, ramming into her small, fragile body.

"SIS!" he yelled, and people around him screamed. "OH MY GOD!" His hand clenched at the stone again, and his eyes flew from the scene of the crash, falling upon the girl sitting at the coffee shop across the street from him.

Tears blinded his eyes, and his world was going blurry, but the girl's green eyes held his gaze as everything but them faded into an array of colors yet again. Yelling out and reaching for something as the stone yet again pulled him backwards, Konnor tried to run, and his legs took him across the quickly-fading street and stumbling into the girl he'd seen.

Coffee spilled, tables were turned over, but it didn't matter, because they were disappearing again to those in that time, being sucked through another void and into the vast realms of the fourth dimension. Screaming and holding onto her, they fell, side by side, as the colors and voices and motions overwhelmed them.

Me (Orlia)-
Enigma's eyes widened in shock as a truck just hit a female, only moments after her warning. Blood went upon her, for she was close, and the body was near her too. Then, hearing someone yell "sis" diverted her attention to the source. A male (how do you look like?) came running like crazy towards her, as their eyes never left each other, as if it was all her fault, then stumbaling over the females body he fell upon her.

Enigma had no time to re-act or move out of the way, everything happened to fast for her to think. She grabbed his hand to keep it away as she wished deep within her heart to be away from here and back to the ancient times of Egypt, to escape! But before she even had time to get the man away from her, a sudden wind surrounded her, causing her long black hair to the floor to go all over the place, just like her books that where being ripped apart and blown everywhere.

Looking around, and still in shock, it all seemed as if everything seemed to be un-building itself and as if they where watching history in rewind. Then suddenly she felt that she was lifted off the ground, the male still with her not letting go. As soon as it all began, the sick feelings and the tossing and turning, she landed on hot ground and it all stopped.

The first thing that came to mind was, Oh my goodness its SO hot, where am I? Enigma opened her eyes to find her starring at the male, who was almost in tears, opposite her and a long desert that stretched beyond the horizone behind her.

"Wha-wher-who-how-...." Enigma was speachless, she didn't know where to start or how to re-act. She was not in New York, she was in a desert or something, she was with a guy that had apparently witnessed his sisters death and she just saw time being rewinded.

I hope I'm dreaming and the waiter hit me across the head to kid-nap me so we could have sex...anything but this! she though crazely as her eyes slowly diverted back to the face of the male.

"What did you do!" she asked half shocked still, confused and a bit angry...almost comming to tears herself.

Wouned Glory-
What did I do? Konnor thought to himself just as the girl he'd fallen atop asked him the very question. His sister's crushed body still fresh in his memory, he looked down where he'd landed and it slowly registered in his mind that the ground was hot.

Very hot.

"Ahh!" Konnor yelped, and rose to his feet, the heat radiating through his jeans. He looked around and saw the girl with the electric green eyes had slipped through with him.

Konnor wore a button-up brown, long-sleeved shirt over a thin, white muscle shirt. His jeans were covered in sand. He was very aware of what he wore currently because it was just so damned hot.

"I--I--I don't--" he didn't know what to say as he looked around, seeing desert as far as the eye could see. "I...my sister, and, the stone--" He looked down at the stone in his hand and simply stared at it, then glanced up at her, his light brown hair falling across his dark blue, wide eyes.

"I think we're...back in time," he said to her, wondering why it had taken them both and not just him. The top of her head just barely reached his chin when they stood facing each other, and he stepped back so he wouldn't have to look so far down.

Before another word came from Konnor's lips, a spear hit the sand just left of where he stood. Falling back with a small cry, his eyes searched the landscape for the source.

Nothing.

Just then, a patch of sand began to move towards them, and Konnor slowly realized that it was a sand-colored cloak, and beneath that cloak, something lunged from the sand at his throat.

"Makalai! Makalai sherou vatana!" the thing screamed. It held his throat with one hand, and in the other it hald a knife, ready to arch it down against his neck at any moment.

"Ahh!" Konnor screamed, looking over at the girl he'd brought over with him.

"Makalai sherou vatana!" the thing on top of him screamed again, tightening its grasp against his throat.

"I DON'T KNOW!" Konnor yelled back, his heart thumping against his chest and his body cowering. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!"

The thing seemed to be a girl with dirty, sand-filled hair and angry, dark gray eyes. She wore rags closely in color with the desert sand, and her body was small and wiry, the top of her head probably only able to reach Konnor's chest if they stood.

Me(Orlia)-

Enigma yelled in great shock as the arrow hit the ground next to them the first time. Looking around, her green eyes scanned the area, and like the guy she was with, she couldn't really see anything either, plus the suns rays weren't help for her eyes and skin where sensative to the sunlight.

This always explained why she wore long silky white skirts, because white colors reflected sun light and black absorbed, and usually a green tank top undearneath a see through white top which had her name engraved in Egyption with gold on the back.

She also had many Egyption like bracelets, rings and other things on her because she loved everything about Egypt. Her long, pitch black, silky, straight hair to the floor was sometimes let loose or Enigma would make two plates out of it and tie it with golden like elastic string which she always carried on her ankles or either in her bag that she always had by her side, with many 'in-case' objects in it.

Unfortunatly she didn't have an 'in-case' object in her bag at the moment that could help her fight a warrior like woman, she didn't know enough Egyption either to understand her...better then nothing I guess.

"Anubis..." Enigma said and pointed to herself. 'Anubis' ment royal child and Enigma hoped that the wild lady would believe her because of how much gold Enigma had on herself anyway.

The women looked Enigma up and down, not sure what she was seeing, for why would a princess, a royal child, be out in the desert without her servants and such. She held on strong to the male still, knifes edge still at his throat.

Oh, crap! Think, think...another word, something else Enigma thought but tried not to show it, if she did it would be less belivable.

"Umm...Yinepu Khu Horusnodjmet" she tried to word the little words she knew together and ended up with something like 'Royal Child Protected Sweet one of High Above' if that made any sense, she hoped it would stop her from trying to kill the guy.

Pointing at the guy she said "Rameses" which ment 'Re has fashioned him. Then Enigma concluded in vain with "Ma'at" meaning 'truth'. Enigma herself couldn't understand what she was saying but atleast she tried.

Looking at the lady in the eyes, she saw that her eyes where looking at something else some times, something upon her. Enigma looked down, she saw lots of gold.
Damn...I can't give this! They are my babies...but I can't let him die, the moron that got me into all this she though angerly as she knew deep within that someones life was worth more then her 'babies'.

Seeing from the corner of her eye, she noticed that the female fancied her snake like bracelet around her whrist. Without another word, Enigma took it off slowly and with pain for it had been a gift from someone close and ment a lot. Then looking at the female she stretched out her hand but not close enough for her to reach it, if she had any hope then it would be that she would let go and the guy would hit her across the head and she would still have her 'baby'

But as Enigma stretched her hand out, she somehow felt that there won't be a happy ending, something will happen...something always happens.

Wouned Glory-
The scruffy girl stared at the golden bracelet that was offered to her, and frowned at the person who did so. Feeling Konnor move slightly beneath her, she squeezed at his throat again, making menacing gestures with the knife she held. "You know, I really wish we could understand each other," Konner choked out, feeling her hand nearly crush his windpipe. "It...would be...so much...easier."

Blinking at him, the scruffy girl frowned. She then looked over to the girl who still offered her the bracelet, and narrowed her eyes. "You speak...in my tongue?" the girl asked, puzzled and unsure. She got to her feet and slowly sheathed her knife, eyeing them both curiously.

"I am Chione, born of the Nile," she said, glaring at Konnor as he rose to his feet. Dusting himself off, he stared at the spear planted in the ground that had almost take off his calf, and made a sour face.

"You didn't have to nearly dice me up," he muttered, looking over at her. Turning her attention to the girl who had tried to save his life, he grinned sheepishly. "I'm...Konnor. I--think this is all my fault." He motioned towards their surroundings and even shamefully motioned towards Chione, his eyes drooping in a comical fashion. Showing them the stone, he suddenly felt as though he were in a self-help group, revealing his secret vice.

Chione stared at them both, from one to the other, noting their behavior wasn't familiar enough to her to be classified as natives. "You look lost," she said to them both. "And I apologize for the sudden attack, I thought you were renegades for the pharoah, sent to murder those in my group. But it is apparent that..." she stared at Konnor's clothing, then at the awkward way he held himself--a couch potato figure, was what we call it, although she had no words for it herself--and clearly say his inexperience. "...you are not."

"You wear...gold," Chione continued to say, this time towards the girl. "Are you of the royal family?" Gripping her knife and unbrandishing it from its place on her belt, she growled. "If you are I would be forced to cut you down for the safety of my group! And him along with you!"

Konnor cowered away from her--yet again. He was a teenager from the early 21st century, for gods sakes! He'd had no variation of combat training, and was more likely to stuff his face with a twinkie bar and play dating simulations on his computer than to wander into the world of violence...

Me (Orlia)-
"You speak English? But-but-...how?" she asked a big shocked then a smile grew on her face.

"Yes! We must be still in the same time frame just different place...phew nearly got a heart attack." Enigma smiled and with a hand on her chest, breathed a few times in and out, in and out.

Konnor, the guys name apparently, finally gave an explanation, not that it helped. He showed a rock in his hand to them, it was a simple stone with a few engravings on it. It also appeared to be missing its other half. Enigma didn't know if the guy was seriouse or joking, but after 'teleporting' or something to this place the possiblility that a rock could do anything with this, didn't seem so impossible.

"So...so...how-" but she couldn't finished, her in and out breathing just suffered a pause...Chione had her knife out again, this time at her...for a stupid reason in Enigmas eyes. The breathing continued, a bit faster though, including the heart beat.

"Me-me, ro-royal?" she said pointing at herself, her eyes in shock. "No-no-no-no...no royal, nothing close. Wouldn't a look a bit different and not have pale skin, also be able to speak Egyption?" Enigma stated in vain, hoping that Chione would belive, for Enigma really wans't a royal even though she said something about 'royal child' before. She's going to kill me! And that bloody bastard who got me into all of this is being the greatest coward I ever knew...and after all I for him! Enigma though almost in rage as she tryed to smile, hoping not to show how nervouse she was.

"Then how did you come in possession of such great amount of jewellery and why are you wearing them all?" she asked a bit suspicouse still.

"We-well...umm...there where gifts from many people and sometimes the safest place to place your dearest belongins is with ones self. I am no royal, I swear! Why would they send someone like me anyway?" Enigma responded, close to fainting but not showing it...she was getting really scared now.

"Hmm....your weird, and what you say is weird, also you look different and act different too...I guess you are no royal from here, but I will keep my eye out for you and if you do something akward, you and the guy are both dead meet for my dogs!" she seriously threatened as she pointed the knife at her and Konnor as if it where a signiture for their possible death. Enigma held on to her throat, and backed a bit away, trying to still give a smile out of thanks 'for not killing me'.

"Here put these on, since it is not our ways to leave the lost without water atleast in the desert, but I cannot allow you to see the way to our hidden place." Chione commanded as she threw over some dirty pieces of material, to both Konnor and her. Enigma hesitated for a moment, for she was a clean freak and her skin and eyes where very sensative to dirty, just like the heat and rays of the sun...but it was better then bringing on a new argument.

So, she was in the dark, a very hot darkness. She could feel the suns heat almost roasting her sking by the seconds, she felt sweat go down her face and her hair being filled with a lot of sand, her sesative and gentle feet weren't doing too well either, a few more moments exposed like this and a blackout might just happen, or a fever. Great, now I'm going to die a slow and hot death...maybe the knife wasn't such a bad idea? she thought coldly, but her thoughts where suddenly cut as her hands where tied behind her back quicked then she could say 'egypt'.

"Hey, whats the big idea? It's not as if I have a weapon or something to stabb you, nor am I strong enough with my arms!" Enigma protested, but only heared Konnors complaining near by.

"Its for my safey, I don't know you nor trust you. Since your in my care, and your life in my hands you will do as your told, or would you prefer the deserts heat over a shaded place with cool water?" Enigma heared Chione's voice in front of her. Knowing that anything was better then where she was now, Enigma only grumbled and stayed silent, swearing that one day Konnor would get such a huge slapping of his life for all this misery put upon her...suddenly Egypt wasn't as magical.

I wonder if my wish to go back to Egypt came true, and thats why we are here?...but how those this female know how to speak English then? before she could continue her thinking or word the question out to Chione, she was pushed forward into the unknown darkness, frequently bumping into Konnor apparently, due to the slippery sand and the heat that is impacting her focuse and energy.

"How - much - longer? Are - we there yet...I need - water!" Enigma said, bearly breathing as her throat was as dry as he desert itself. She did have some water in her bag, but it was probably hot to the boiling point, it would do more harm then benefit.

"Stop your whinning, we are almost there...its only been a few minutes..." Chione grumbled in annoyance, for these same questions where asked multiple times by her and Konnor over the last few minutes.

"Stop!" Chiones voice suddenly commanded, causing atleast her to jump a bit. But before she could even say 'thank goodness' she was pushed down a hole, landing on sakes of sand apparenly below, not that it really helped the impacting pain of the all.

"Oh crap, oww....you couldn't have warned me a bit earlier or something....ouch.." Enigma winned and rolled, till she fell off to apparenly make room for Konnors fall, he whinned more then Enigma would have expected. Cowerdly baby, crap asshole moron, idiot! she filled her head with so many lables for him, the more she hated this place, the more she blamed him. However, Enigma had finally got a positive out of all of this, she was in the shade and it was much more cooler now...the problem of water however still exzisted. Before she had a chance to ask for some, Chione's once again interviend.

"Welcome to...'home'...I guess, well my home but yours for the moment..." Chorine's voice declared as she took the ropes off her hands, allowing Enigma to remove her blind fold, to see. I wish I was really home though... she thought in sadness as she slowly removed the blind fold to find herself staring at an undergrown house or something...

"Wow..." was all she could word at the moment.

Wounded Glory-
Konnor stumbled and fell through the hole, indeed whining and cursing unecessarily. He felt cool air against his once-scalding skin, and sighed thankfully. Hearing the sound of tearing rope, he deducted Chione was going to untie them both and let out another sigh of thanks as she did indeed slice the ropes that bound him.

Removing the piece of cloth that covered his eyes, Konnor stared in fascination at the many tunnels they faced. Each tunnel seemed to be carved into a perfectly round circle, and he stared at six in front of him, all about six feet in diameter and carved in solid stone. Glancing up, he could see the hole they'd fallen through, sand falling from it towards him and stinging his eyes. The fall hadn't felt that far--but the hole looked very small and far away, at least twenty feet above him in the darkened tunnel chambers. Pivoting his foot, he could see six more tunnel entrances behind him, and knew he'd never be able to escape once Chione led them away from the hole they'd fallen through--lest he lose his way entirely and die of starvation within the tunnels.

"What's...going on, Chione?" he asked, his eyes travelling to her wide and afraid.

"Don't wet yourself," Chione said, a trace of humor in her darkened violet eyes. "We are in the Geb Tunnels, pathways for the Zasha. The Zasha are my people...what few the pharoah has not eliminated, that is."

Chione took them both by the arms and led them into the tunnels, making sure to keep them both in front of her at all times. The tunnels did not seem to be too dark--Konnor, at least, could faintly see the girl's form beside him. "The Zasha are assassins," Chione said behind them, an undertone of threat in her voice. "Although of course, we do not kill anyone whom we've not been payed to kill. So rest easy--unless you become either very strong or very important, we will not trouble ourselves into staining our blades with your blood."

"Why did you attack us earlier, thinking we were men sent by the pharoah?" Konnor asked curiously.

"We were sent to assassinate a member of his Imperial Guard. He was very rightly the pharaoh's right hand man. We...did not succeed in the assassination, and one of our men was taken and tortured for information." Chione's eyes held a bitter sheen to them in the darkness, and although Konnor could not see them, he could very well feel them bearing down into the back of his head. "We are wanted criminals now, and to be killed on sight were any of the pharaoh's men to lay eyes on us."

Silence followed after that explanation, and Konnor felt awkward in it. Turning to the girl beside him, he tried his hand at idle conversation. "I don't think I caught your name," Konnor whispered, smiling hopefully over at her. He was going to try and make the best of the situation, even with what had happened so far, and even through the fact that he had been scared nearly shitless when Chione had initially leaped onto him.

Me (Orlia)-
Enigma was looking around at all the 6 different entrances, knowing that it was a great maze...a prison as much as a safe ground. Enigma was uncomfortable to be trapped underground, everything about being 'trap' made her sick...no freedom, no sky, no way out...She was getting a sick feeling within her, half wanting to go and half wanting not to go and rather rost in the sun.

Then Neil asked her for her name with a 'lets start over' smile, which made Enigma more sick and very pissed. Catch this! Enigma thought and puked all over the guy, making it seem an accident. Well, the puke was accidental but where it went wasn't.

"Oh sorry, my name is Enigma. Did you catch it this time?" Enigma said sheepishly as she whipped some puke off her mouth, still looking blue but she was starting to feel a bit better, since the guy wasn't.

"Oh, you stink!" Chione expressed as she put her hand over her mouth, almost about to puke herself...Enigma kept well away from her mouth and Neil, didn't want any to come back to her cause if it did she would be puking all the way to the showers...if they had any. Ignoring Neils complaining, she hopped next to Choine and questioned.

"How do you know English and what year is it?" Enigma asked, at the moment two very important questions. Just as she concluded the answer, she was already pushed forward into the hole to the right without a reply, everything after that was a blurr of a hundred pathways and many holes that look identicle to the last.

"Would you stop pushing me!" Enigma had fianally cracked, after almost half an hour of puching her around, and not even touching Neil, she was fed up. "A simple right or left will do, and if you really want to push someone, push Neil!" Enigma was at the edge of anger, but it wasn't getting a hold of her yet.

"He stinks, your easier to push." she simply said and pushed Enigma forward again.

"But why are you pushing me!" Enigma showed a bit of anger this time, she was really getting pissed and fed-up greatly with all of this!

"Well...cause I can and its fun..." Chione exclamed, with a cheeky smile and a knife in view to show that she was still the boss and their lives where in her hands, she could do whatever she wanted...unfortunatly for Neil and especially Enigma apparently.

Enigma groan again, as she was pushed forward...even when she tryed to go faster ahead of behind Chione, she always found a way to grabb her. Finally, apparently, they had arrived, after a recent bug had fallen on Enigma causing her to scream like hell and run in all directions...getting them all a bit lost for another half an hour of pushing...Enigma swore that she heard Neil laughting at one point.

Once I get my hands on him...ufff...I'm so angry at both him and Chione that I can't even think of a plan to get back at them! Enigma thought in anger, as she kept a constant look out for buggs...she feared buggs as much as Neil fears a fight against a girl.

Anyway, the place was like an underground house, within a reasonably wide area, there was something of a kitchen, beds, a pool and strong women and men. Being pushed forward, in everyones plain view, she and Neil, who was in the shadows, where looked at with every eye that could see...Enigma wasn't sure if they wanted to welcome her or rape her...or kill her, the strong women and men where looking at her in awe and distaste.

Yes she was weird, with long black hair to the floor, forest green eyes, pale skin and weird cloths...and lots of gold, but is wasn't as if she was royal for them to dispise her. Looking around herself properly, she noticed ld Egyption cooking equipement, cloths and other objects that she knew that in the modern times in Egypt where using such things.

"What year are we in and how do you know english?" she once again asked Chione beside her, but Enigmas eyes stayed fix on the people watching her.

Wouned Glory-
After Enigma had thrown up on him, Konnor stayed quiet for most of the trip through the tunnels. It wasn't because he could plainly see Enigma's utter hatred for him--although that was one of the reasons--but because he could feel eyes staring at him when a bug had landed on Enigma and she'd gone ballistic...and they weren't Chione's eyes.

Although Konnor was a couch potato all the way, he had a baser instinct in him that aided in his success at first person shooter games. He could "feel" when things were not right--and he could tell when it felt like something was hunting him down. "Er...Chione," he began to say, but they finally got to where they'd been headed, and Enigma seemed to throw him a look that shut him up.

"It is the year of the coral," Chione answered Enigma's questions, "and I do not know of this... "english", of which you speak."

"Chione," a voice said, deep and rumbling. Konnor looked to his left to see a man at a stone table packing spears into a leather sling of some sort. "Kata reskoba hyume certa ko ano?" The man walked over to them, eyes narrowed and lips set in a line. Konnor came up to about the man's chin--he was massive and shirtless, his tanned muscles shining with sweat of whatever work he'd previously been doing before slinging spears. Konnor, to say the least, looked like a toothpick beside this man--and Konnor was no toothpick underneath his overshirt, by any means. He was one to constantly work out before all this had happened.

"Baris," Chione murmured, motioning to Enigma and Konnor. "I found them at the surface. They wear strange clothes and spoke to me in a strange manner when I first attacked them, but they are no pharoah's soldiers."

"Kelto ana," Baris boomed, making motions with his hands. He glared at Konnor and narrowed his eyes again, and Konnor edged away from this massive giant of a human. It wasn't that he was overbearing by any means--Konnor just didn't take kindly to men who were twice his size and looked good, to boot. His sister would have called Baris hot, but that word--especially used in this instance--made Konnor squeam. Now Chione...SHE was hot.

"Sit over there while I speak to my superiors," Chione said, pushing Konnor into mound of dirt. She pushed Enigma into him, and walked purposefully off, into another room of this underground living space. Baris kept a close eye on them and continued to sling spears.

Sitting up and looking at the people around him, Konnor couldn't help but feel estranged from all that had happened so far. Pharoahs? Spears? Hot egyptian-looking chicks that wandered around his current surroundings, smiling coyly at him as they passed? It was all rather overwhelming to take in. No matter how else the few people around him looked, one thing was very clear--they looked ready to kill, each having their own deadly sheen in their eyes.

Shortly, Chione came back, and stared at the throw-up on Konnor's overshirt. "Take that off, child," she muttered, ripping it off him without giving him the opportunity to do it himself. "You're probably no older than I am," Konnor muttered back, and ground his teeth together, giving up his shirt without a fight.

Chione said nothing to his retort and threw his shirt into a bin beside the mound of dirt she'd made Enigma and him wait on. "My superior says to keep tabs on you. You are children, by the looks of you both, and he does not want children's blood on his hands."

"I'm not a kid," Konnor whined, and stopped himself mid-whine. He certainly sounded enough like one, and speaking any more would further prove Chione's point. Clad in only his muscle shirt, shoes, and jeans, he felt exposed and vulnerable.

"You still mad at me?" Konnor asked Enigma. "Because I think, if you haven't gathered from our present situation, your anger's sort of childish. Don't you think? Learn to suck it up and survive, Enigma."

"Alto ka! Alto ka anaraka!" Baris yelled, staring at Konnor with a wide, grim smile on his face. A feeling of dread overcame Konnor as Baris lifted him to his feet, carrying the nearly 6-foot boy in his arms, and dumping him in the center of the room. Chione began to laugh where she stood beside Enigma, and covered her mouth with her hands. The others in the living space began to clap and chant as Konnor got to his feet, and Baris threw a spear in Konnor's direction, startling the poor boy as he caught it.

"What--?" Konnor sputtered, and Chione shook her head. "He wants to see what you've got," Chione answered. "He did not know you had such muscle underneath your disguise, and thought it clever of you to hide it from him."

Disguise? Baris must have thought my overshirt was a disguise, Konnor concluded. His eyes widening, his bladder nearly losing control, he stood there in the center of the living space, the dirt floor underneath his feet solid and easily grippable with his sneakers. His knees shook slightly as Baris rounded on him, his own spear in hand, a huge grin on his tanned face. "What the hell?!" Konnor squeaked, holding his spear with both hands. "I don't know how to fight with a spear! He'll slaughter me!"

"Relax, boy," Chione said mockingly, and glanced over at Enigma. "He really has no chance, does he? He has all this muscle, and yet does not know how to use it." Clapping and chanting all around him from the dwellers of this underground cavern. Konnor merely stared at Baris (who still wore a huge smile) and trembled like a little girl.

Me(Orlia)-
Enigma felt like half punching Konnor when he told her to that she was acting childish and to 'suck it up'...its not like he was acting like any hero to call her childish. How could she forgive him so soon anyway, he nearly got her possibly killed and she could have burn in the sun and a lot of other things could have happened, not to mention that she was stuck underground with people that where ready to kill anything in sight.

"Childish? I'll show you 'childish'..." she was about to punch the guy really hard on the face, for she knew martial arts-she was a black belt. With a lot of jewellry upon herself, she had to know how to defend it, although she hadn't show it before, she was really good...its just that she was too shocked to thinck clear.

But before she had a chance to make contact with his face, he was pushed forward into everyones view and in front of the 'giant'. When Enigma first saw him, she felt like fainting, not only did they carry dangerouse things but everything was dangerouse about these people...as if they where born to breath death.

With a small smile, she finally would see who was really a kid. "Like you said, Learn to suck it up and survive, stop being childish!" she yelled out to him, as she saw him almost turning blue. Looking at the propotion of both the guys, she knew that the 'giant' would win, only beacause she knew the Konnor didn't know how to fight, if he knew martial arts he would have had a chance.

Hang on a second...if he dies ill be alone in this world without hope...crap I need him alive, as much as I don't like him! the thought struck her and scared her quite a bit, she need to help him. Better them both dead then her alone, she hated alone...it was worse then death.

"What for such a blue face all of a sudden, you where enjoy yourself a moment ago?" Chione asked as she looked at Enigma, still with an amusing smile on her face as the battle was soon to start.

"If he dies, I'm alone...man I need to help him fight!" the moment she said the last part of the sentence, Chione cracked up laughting and called over to the 'giant'. The 'giant' stopped for a moment to listen. "Attara coro essa litra sono!" Chione said and with that pushed Enigma next to Konnor.

"Wait, no. Hang on minute, I didn't mean it like this! I'm not risking my preciouse but for his-" but before Enigma had a chance to say another word, a dagger was thrown to her too and soon the 'giant' was circling them both, as everyone laughted and clapped in amusement.

"Look, as much as I hate you, I don't want you dead cause then I'll be alone...so lets try to do this. You try to stabb the guy and keep tripping him while you can while I keep him busy. I know Martial art, im a black belt...ready?" she whisped and made the last eye contact before she started to circle at the same pace around Konnor with the 'giant'...everyone started to laught.

"You are scared of a bugg and want to fight him? You are really strange one!" Chione said as the 'giant' smiled, finally making the first move. Passing past Konnor, you looked like a blue stone stiff frozen, he went for her...which shocked Enigma causing her to stumbble a little, get bumped by the 'giant', however no real harm was done and she was back up to circle. again.

If you are not stronger then your opponent, be fast and cleverer...then you have a chance to win... Enigma tired to remember what her master said about such situations, problem was that she wasn't too smart but she was fast atleast. Damn...he will ruin my body while I probably won't even scratch him Enigma thought in dismay as she knew that the 'giant' next move was soon.

But Enigma moved first this time, just a few moments before him. Enough time to get out of the way and kick the guy on the arm with her leg...not much damage done however, he was too well protected with so much muscle on him...however he was a bit impressed, so where the crowed althoug they where still laughting, apparently they didn't expect this from a childish girl.

"Konnor move you ass already!" Enigma tried desperatly to get the guy moving already, he was exposed to a lot of damage and useless. "Be a man you moron, stop acting like a kid, fight you fear...umm...I don't know what else to say, just do something!" Enigma yelled a bit in the end, getting a bit desperate. Then the 'giant' was about to come again, from the position of his feet he wasn't going to go for her but for Konnor this time.

"Watch out!" Enigma said and as quickly as possible, ran to push Konnor out of the way as the 'giant' would have cause a nasty scar on him. Unfortunatly he did get her across the arm a bit, but she had also got him secretly on the leg. Both her and Konnor fell to the floor , the sand sand suddenly went a bit in her eyes...blinding her for a minute for her eyes where sensative, yet it also gave her an idea.

"Pst, Konnor. When i get up, you secretly get up to and grab a heap of sand, but hide it from view form everyone behind me, look as if you are hiding behind me from fear. When he advances the next time, throw the sand into his eyes, then quickly go behind him and place a leg to tripp him, when he falls move away while I jump him. Ok?" she whispered as they where both getting up slowly, Konnor seeming to get his brearing a bit. Enigma felt a hand near her but, between her cloths in the shape of a fist, no-one seemed to have noticed and that was good.

You won't be touching my ass every again, makr my words she though as she watched the 'giant' smile and about to advance. He made his move, and so did Enigma. Ducking down just before impact, she saw sand flying towards the 'giant' and him sumbling back. Soon Konnor leg was in view and the 'giant' went down, it was Enigmas turn this time. Jumping ontop of the 'giant' she was about to press the knife on his neck but found herself pushed on the ground herself with a knife to her throat, he was faster then she was and apparently living in the desert made his eyes more rezistant to sand then she had expected.

"Attara koro sezi, mono siri! (the girl seems to fight better then the boy, she is clever)" he said to the audience, they laughted. Now looking at Konnor, he pulled Enigma up, with the knife still on her neck, as a sign of 'try to save her or give up'. Enigma was starring at Konnor, her eyes a bit watery...her life was in the hands of a coward, she had no chance. Enigma tried in vain some techniques to get out of the position, but the most effective one was when one pinched the back on the knee joined, however her arms where not close enough.

Come on Konnor, save me for once...show me who is child and who isn't! she though as she gave him a 'you can do it' look of determination, for a woman Enigma was preety tough some times, yet she still feared buggs like a little girl!
