...and never let me go.
Also inspired by the lyrics: Give me plenty good reasons, to let you go.
Inspired as well from the Bible - the 99 sheep that Jesus left to find he precious One.

Girl is Mary Magdalen, also me. Both me and Mary seek true love. The reason she is looking at you is so you identify yourself with her too, and hence find yourself in His arms. He's not looking at you cause He's too busy hugging and loving you, while speaking words of comfort!

Finally had the guts to draw Jesus and finally done with this! It's going on display tomorow at a multi-talent thing at my uni tomorrow. Everyone is keen on seeing this one...hope I did Him justice. I know He's not prefect nor is she but I am happy with this, overall.

Something interesting: On the original sketch Jesus was crying too, but when I traced it on the new paper I took his tear away thinking it doesn't suite Him. THEN one day while I was drawing the hair, I apparently must have smugged the face and cased a tear shaped line near his nose...it wouldn't come off! So, it seems that Jesus wanted to cry after all to show me that he is also human and does cry of love for us/me.

Done with 0,35 and 0,5 pencil.

This is a wonderful drawing! I don't think that was a "mistake": I think you drew it how God intended you to! Years ago, a friend of mine made a pencil drawing of The Crucifixion and the Open Tomb. After she finished it, she thought she'd made a mistake: two of the crosses, including Jesus' cross, were in sunlight and were casting shadows; while the other wasn't. She showed her mom the drawing, and her mom said, "You didn't make a mistake, honey: you drew it how God intended you to." She explained that one of the criminals accepted Jesus and went to Heaven, which is why one of the other two crosses was in light and cast a shadow; the other criminal rejected Jesus and didn't go to Heaven, which is why that cross didn't cast a shadow. So it turned-out the way it was supposed to!

Stay well, everyone.
